2013 Candy Cane Hearts

I have always used my leftover candy canes for valentines.  My kids will usually give one to their best friends, and I give one to mine.  Last year, I used them to make a garland for my entryway shelf that you can see here.

This year, I wanted to come up with something a little different.

I made my usual hearts for the kids to give away, and for my friends too.

I actually had two different sizes.

I started to play around with them.

I put a smaller heart in between the larger ones and glued them all together.

I hot glued a twist tie loop to one of the larger hearts and hung it in my daycare information area.

What do you think?

XOXO
